About

Hey There

I'm Michael Messervy.

I discovered Pueblo by happy accident. I was living in Springs in 2018 when I met a pretty girl who happened to live down here. It didn’t take me long to figure out she’s the best thing that ever happened to me, so, I did the only rational thing: I moved down to Pueblo, and married her. It didn’t take long to fall in love with Pueblo as well. My friends from Springs had a lot of questions about whether or not this move was a good idea. But I had a lot of questions for them. Had they been downtown? Had they seen City Park? Had they been to the Reservoir? Had they hung out at Mineral Palace or walked the trail system along the Arkansas? This city is beautiful and so are its people.

Since moving here in 2018 I’ve rebuilt my small remodeling and trim carpentry business with local clients. I also sold my real estate in Springs and re-invested here in Pueblo. I currently own and manage a handful of rental properties in the City. I’ve also started to get involved. I’m currently serving my third term on the Community Services Advisory Committee (CSAC), I helped manage Tisha Mauro’s successful campaign for House District 46 during the last cycle, and I’ve just started serving on the Community investment Committee with United Way. I'm now also proud to serve as the Treasurer for the Pueblo County Democratic Party. If I’m not doing any of that, you’ll find me sailing on the Reservoir every chance I get.

As a relative newcomer to Pueblo, I am under no illusions that I know exactly how to help my City move forward. I do, however, know how to get in and help. I know how to ask good questions and I’m not allergic to working hard. More importantly, I am proud to call Pueblo home and I want to do everything I can to make sure we realize our potential.
